Repair Process

Equipment in need of repair is sent to one of our service depots along with a problem description. The problem description can be reported on the customer’s own repair form, or a repair tag that we can provide.

As units are received for repair they are inspected for shipping damage and checked for missing accessories. Any discrepancies are noted, and if necessary the customer is contacted before any service is performed.

A maintenance activity record (MAR) is opened in our service tracking system. All repair activity and parts usage are logged on the MAR, which is then returned with the completed unit. Custom reporting based on the data collected through the repair process can be provided.

ACI provides superior quality service on every repair we make. We employ industry-trained technicians who use a combination of specialized testing devices and advanced trouble-shooting techniques to perform component level repair. Using our repair history database and cumulative experience, the technician determines the appropriate solution for the failure symptom.

In cases where repairs cannot be completed at the component level, the circuit board is replaced with a refurbished board from a like unit.

We repair each unit for the problem it was sent in for as well as implementing modifications as required. A technician checks the functionality and operation of all units just prior to the equipment being packaged and returned.

In addition to repairing the unit, we apply the following maintenance procedures:
